We are honored to gather pastors, clergy, ministry leaders, and believers from across the Commonwealth in a spirit of unity, collaboration, and shared commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This council exists to strengthen the Black Church's collective witness, cultivate meaningful partnerships, and address the spiritual and social challenges impacting our communities.
At a time when division, injustice, and uncertainty continue to shape our world, we believe God is calling the Church to stand together with courage, conviction, and compassion. The Black Ecumenical Council of Massachusetts seeks to create space for fellowship, leadership development, advocacy, worship, and transformational dialogue rooted in biblical faith and communal responsibility.
We celebrate the rich legacy of the Black Church—its prophetic voice, enduring resilience, and unwavering faith. At the same time, we look forward with hope and expectation, believing that God is raising up leaders and congregations to serve this generation with wisdom, unity, and power.
Thank you for joining us in this important work. May this council inspire deeper relationships, renewed vision, and a stronger commitment to advancing God's kingdom together.
Grace and peace,
Rev. Kenneth M. Young
